A random photopost by me: Karin donated 2 scans of Glamour – Germany – May 2008. I also edited the Candids section in the gallery a bit and added 1 new set of candids. Zooey was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport on April 8th this year. Not very recent, but i added them anyway. Follow the links to check them out.

Were added to the gallery a few days ago two great Yes Man stills, featuring a “Hermione-Zooey”.

Zooey is also the covergirl twice this month. First, with M. Ward, in Paste Magazine. You can read the article here. And in Complex Magazine, her interview is here.

Actor explains the film’s spontaneous dance numbers, Hall & Oates sing-alongs and the 16 Zooeys.

What can you say about Zooey Deschanel that hasn’t already been said? She’s lovely, she’s talented — she’s positively one of a kind.

Well, OK, she’s not exactly one of a kind on the set of her newest film, “500 Days of Summer,” where MTV News was treated to 16 identical Zooeys, including the genuine article herself, all dressed in the same blue dress with a cute little headband holding back their black, shoulder-length hair.

Lack of attitude, no nonsense make her a hot commodity in Hollywood
By Troy Patterson
MEN’S VOGUE

The whole idea of Zooey Deschanel — the quality that gets movie critics calling her quirky and directors calling her day and night — is that she’s the antistarlet. No entourage, no attitude, no nonsense. For our teatime rendezvous, she chooses a restaurant on a fringe of downtown Manhattan so obscure that the neighborhood doesn’t have a name. She tiptoes in looking like a graceful version of boho-chic 28-year-olds found everywhere from Brooklyn to Silver Lake, with an Obama button on her vintage coat and The New Yorker rolled up in her pocket. She’s the literary type, right down to her idiosyncratic name, which her parents — who raised her mostly in L.A. — lifted from J. D. Salinger’s Franny and Zooey. “I waited a very long time before I read it,” she confesses. “What if I hated it? I read everything else of his first.”
