She And Him will hit the road this summer
M. Ward and actress/singer Zooey Deschanel have announced the dates of a North American tour this summer.
The duo, known as She And Him, are set to kick off their tour in Toronto on July 23.
They’ll then play shows in cities including Philadelphia, New York, Nashville and Chicago [...]

I have seen “Elf” a number of times (yes I have a mild obsession with Will Ferrell) and every time I saw it, I found myself mesmerized by indie darling Zooey Deschanel’s powerful voice and wondering if it was actually her singing (which seems to be more the exception than the rule these days).

Zooey and M.Ward performed “Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?” with their friends Yo La Tengo on Conan yesterday. Zooey had lost her voice, as previously announced, and still managed to pull it off splendidly.
